Grade 3 Young Artist
Beginning in Grade 3 through Grade 6 the world of Art + Design grows! In these years the entire family called The ELEMENTS of ART are OBSERVED, DISCUSSED and EXPLORED!
The 3rd Grade Artist learns the wonders of SPACE- the ELEMENT of ART that provides the illusion of 3-dimension on
a 2-dimensional piece of material.
The LANDSCAPE becomes our place to explore.
Here, we are able to create Forms with Color and Texture and maybe even Value.
We dive back into the world of COLORS.
Soon we are applying these new ideas and concepts
as we learn to draw the HUMAN FACE

Today was our first true lesson in Visual Arts class. We looked at the word DESIGN. As an ARTIST we are realizing we have such power to do GOOD Things. We have the power to CREATE GOOD DESIGN. Using Red. White. and Blue. MEDIA we began to CREATE unique DESIGNS inspired by the COLORS of our country. |
