​Our Art + Design World grows!

Our year begins and  the family called The ELEMENTS of ART is expanded.
The ELEMENTS' cousins arrive: the PRINCIPLES of ART!
The 4th Grade Artist must apply their knowledge of the ELEMENTS of ART as they are introduced to the fascinations found in the PRINCIPLES of ART + DESIGN.
REPETITION-MOVEMENT-CONTRAST-EMPHASIS. These become real as we use them to vividly describe the ELEMENTS we have been learning since Kindergarten.
New ideas and concepts are continuously being introduced and celebrated.

​New media / techniques / processes are introduced and explored.
